![]() ![]() I didnt get any opportunity to use the last one, cause I dont have. insert Powersaves on the cartridge and create your own Powersaves with kind of 'codes' you check before you insert it as a Powersaves on your game. I don't see most people going for that option, but that is the only way to prevent it. A friend of mine told me to buy a 3DS Powersaves, claiming this is THE AR for 3DS Games that can also backup save files. The only way to completely avoid it is to not use Powersaves at all. It is possible that something has happened again on Datel's side that is incorrectly telling the program where to write the save. Everything has been relatively quiet on that front until recently. That also doesn't mean that it can't happen again. ![]() The major offending code (the Wal-Mart Garchomp) has since been added back and seems to function normally. Also not possible to use a 3DS to encrypt a save, without the cartridge. Also, it is impossible to encrypt a save on a computer. The saves cannot be transferred across cartridges, and powersaves doesn't allow restoring of unencrypted saves. This triggered a massive removal of content. Powersaves can backup and restore encrypted of the same cartridge. There was a time early on where one edit seemed to be associated with a very high incidence of the save being rewritten outside of it's appropriate area. Suggested means would be to make sure that you have a functional USB cable and using it in a USB port that is actually on your computer and not through some peripheral (like a keyboard for instance ). We know why it is caused (see my post on the previous page with the link to the guy who found out), but there is no absolute way to avoid it.
